Repair and maintain outdoor plumbing systems including hose bibs, spigots, and exterior water lines.
Chapter 01
A spigot that drips, or split in the freeze
Outdoor faucets live a harder life than anything indoors. They sit in sun, rain, and winter cold, and they rarely get looked at until one drips onto a flower bed. A slow drip at the handle usually means a worn washer. Water running from the wall behind the spigot after you turn it on usually means the pipe behind it has cracked.
Freeze damage is the classic culprit. Water left inside a hose bib expands when it turns to ice and can split the pipe without any sign until the next time the water is turned on. A hose left attached through winter makes this more likely, because it holds water in the faucet and keeps the cold in.

Hose bibs, spigots, and exterior water lines
Allied covers repair and maintenance of outdoor plumbing systems, including hose bibs, spigots, and exterior water lines. Leaks are often caused by worn washers, cracked pipes, or freeze damage, and Allied can repair or replace hose bibs and outdoor faucets to restore proper function. Outdoor pipes can freeze without proper insulation.
When you call (479) 278-4508, tell the office which spigot it is, whether it leaks at the handle or from the wall, and whether it froze recently. Say whether you own the home. Allied can't schedule directly with renters, so a tenant should ask the property owner or property manager to contact the office and book the visit.
Chapter 03
Why a small outdoor leak costs more than it looks
An outdoor leak wastes water quietly, because nobody stands in the yard watching the meter. A cracked pipe behind the wall can also send water into the wall cavity or the foundation edge, where it does its damage out of sight. The whole problem traces back to cracks and leaks that begin with insulation and freeze exposure.
