A fan that wobbles, hums, or does not move the air
A ceiling fan is a small motor hanging from a box in the ceiling, and it is easy to underestimate how much has to go right for it to run quietly. Wobble, humming, clicking, a light kit that flickers, and a pull chain that no longer catches all show up eventually. Fan issues may result from installation problems, worn components, or electrical faults.
There is also the fan you want and do not have. A bedroom that runs hot in a Northwest Arkansas summer, a covered porch with no air moving, or a great room where the air conditioner works harder than it needs to. Adding or replacing a fan changes how a room feels, and it needs a properly supported box and a correctly wired circuit to do so.

Tell the office which rooms you have in mind, whether a fan or a light fixture is there now, and whether you own the home or rent it. Allied is unable to schedule service directly with renters, so a property owner or property manager has to contact the office to book the appointment. Financing is available with approved credit.

Why the wiring above the fan matters
A fan can also point at a wiring problem. Burning smells, flickering lights, or outlets that don't work properly are the signs of bad wiring. If a fan or its light dims and flickers, or the switch feels warm, the wiring in the ceiling box may be involved, not only the fan.
